We understand that rising energy costs are a concern for many homeowners. Ongoing global events are putting pressure on energy prices across the UK, and we want to be open and transparent about what this could mean for our customers and how we are responding.

What this could mean for you

Customers living in buildings with heat networks or shared energy supplies may be most affected by these changes. We are monitoring the situation closely and want to ensure you have the information you need.

How we are responding

While energy prices are outside our control, we are committed to making sure our customers receive fair and competitive rates for any energy we procure on their behalf. We are working closely with our specialist energy partner, Energycentric, to manage expected increases as effectively as possible and to secure the best available terms across the developments we manage.

How we procure energy

Energycentric negotiates bulk energy contracts on behalf of the developments we manage. Purchasing energy at scale means we are often able to secure more competitive rates than individual developments would typically be able to access independently.

Contracts are also structured to protect against unexpected mid-contract price increases, so once a rate has been agreed, it remains fixed for the duration of the contract. This provides a level of stability and helps shield customers from sudden cost changes throughout the year.

We know that increases in household costs can be worrying, and we want to reassure you that we are taking a proactive and considered approach. We will continue to keep customers informed as the situation develops and further information becomes available.
